Line Services
Port of Grenland offers a well-established network of regular short sea shipping routes, connecting Southern Norway to key logistics hubs across Northern Europe—and further into global markets.
We have direct connections to Sweden, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Belgium. Through efficient transshipment in major European ports, cargo from Grenland reaches destinations worldwide.
At Brevik Terminal, DFDS—one of the largest freight operators in the Nordic region—runs RoRo services linking Grenland to Gothenburg, Ghent, and Immingham. Unifeeder provides container services to Rotterdam, Bremerhaven, and Hamburg, with seamless onward connections to deep-sea networks. MSC also calls at Brevik as part of its LoLo service between the Oslofjord region and Antwerp.
Brevik Terminal is equipped with on-site rail access, enabling efficient multimodal logistics solutions and strong integration with national and international rail freight networks.
In addition, Brevik plays a key role in Europe’s carbon capture and storage value chain. CO₂ vessels operated by Northern Lights transport liquefied CO₂ from Heidelberg Materials’ cement plant in Brevik to Øygarden.
From December 2026, LoLo container services will be relocated to our new terminal at Frier Vest, further strengthening capacity, efficiency, and future growth in Grenland.
