Tariffs and commercial terms 2026

The list of tariffs describes local fairway dues, goods charges and service charges when calling at the Port of Grenland from january 1 2026.

Fairway dues

Vessels up to 3 000 GTNOK 0.60 per GT
Vessels up to 8 000 GTNOK 0.70 per GT
Vessels above 8 000 GTNOK 0.75 per GT
Minimum charge
There is a minimum charge per arrival of NOK 500 for all types of vessels that are subject to fairway dues.

Green discount

Vessels registered in the Environmental Ship Index (ESI) or Clean Shipping Index (CSI), with a total score of 30 points or more with ESI, or classified as  “green” in CSI, qualify for a 20% discount on standard rates. The discount is applicable on calls within the ESI certificate validity period, and where the ESI-registration is notified in advance. The discount does not apply to existing discount agreements.

Minimum charge
There is a minimum charge of NOK 800 for all types of vessels in scope for quay charge.

Electricity and waste services are billed in arrears based on actual consumption, with a 30% surcharge for administration.

Goods charges

Volume goods are regarded as unit weight where 1 m3 = min. 0.5 ton. The conversion factor for timber, wood chips and splinters is 1.18.

Storage of goods on quay or in warehouse (beyond the agreed period)

The price for goods stored on Port og Grenland’s quays or areas for more than 48 hours before loading or after unloading shall be agreed separately in each individual case.

ISPS AND ACCESS TO TERMINAL

For port calls or entry to/exit from Port of Grenland’s quays and terminals, an ISPS fee of NOK 0.40 per GT applies, with a maximum of NOK 2 000.

ADMINISTRATIVE CHARGES

Administrative services are charged at NOK 900 per hour
Grade 1 applications
Applications for smaller seasonal mooring installations, quays, piers, buoys, etc.
NOK 2 700 per case
Grade 2 applications
Applications for larger quays and piers, breakwater, pontoons, etc. for year-round installation, and storage of smaller vessels.
NOK 8 500 per case
Grade 3 applications
Applications for establishing larger permanent structures such as floating jetty facilities, year-round breakwater and mooring installations; storage of larger vessels; cabling, wiring, piping, excavation and backfilling, and other measures that will permanently change the coastline.
NOK 13 000 per case
If the application covers more than one measure, a surcharge of 20% will be added to the case processing fee.
