The terminal includes three quays: Deepwater Quay, Crane Quay and Tinfos Quay \u2013 all serving the logistical needs of nearby industrial operations.[\/vc_column_text][mk_padding_divider size=”32″][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1754044615024{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]<\/p>\n

Deepwater Quay<\/h3>\n

With a quay length of 175 metres and a depth of 9.7 metres, this is the main terminal for receiving raw materials for Yara Norway. Yara is also responsible for day-to-day operations at the facility.<\/p>\n

The quay has an adjacent outdoor area of approximately 20,000 m\u00b2, used by Eramet Norway for raw material storage.<\/p>\n

Crane Quay<\/h3>\n

With a quay length of 230 metres and a depth of 6.7 metres, Port of Grenland’s Crane Quay is used by Eramet Norway for receiving raw materials and supporting the production of manganese alloys. The quay also includes 1,750 m\u00b2 of indoor storage capacity.[\/vc_column_text][mk_padding_divider size=”32″][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1754044813110{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]<\/p>\n

Tinfos Quay<\/h3>\n

Tinfos Quay is 150 metres long and 6.7 metres deep, and currently serves as Port of Grenland\u2019s main terminal for timber exports.<\/p>\n

Crane Quay and Tinfos Quay share an outdoor area of approximately 10,000 m\u00b2, used for cargo handling and temporary storage.<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][mk_padding_divider size=”20″][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1754044904506{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]<\/p>\n

Waste management<\/h3>\n

At Deepwater Quay and Tinfos Qay Port of Grenland provides waste reception facilities with containers for small volumes of hazardous waste, residual waste, and paper. The facilities are scaled to local needs and adjusted to the number of vessels at berth.<\/p>\n

All vessels must register waste deliveries in advance via SafeSeaNet Norway<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

For larger volumes \u2013 including oil waste, sewage or greywater \u2013 services must be arranged through a shipping agent or directly with Norsk Gjenvinning Industri<\/strong>, tel. +47 987 09 700.<\/p>\n
