The Committee is the supreme authority of the port.<\/p>\n<p>The Port is led by the Board of Directors. The bord consists of 7 members from the local business community, and is responsible for the overall management and appropriate organisation of port operations. The Port Director is responsible for the daily management and all day to day activities. The Port Director reports directly to the board, and must follow instructions and guidelines given by them.<\/p>\n<p>The Port of Grenland has 19 employees.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][mk_padding_divider size=&#8221;32&#8243;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1600414179776{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3>Asset management<\/h3>\n<p>The company will exercise the authority and carry out the business tasks assigned to the municipalities through the Ports and Waterways Act. Port of Grenland will work to ensure that the region has a competitive, future-oriented and sustainable infrastructure for sea transport, and will endevour to further develop the port into an efficient transportation hub.<\/p>\n<p>As regulated in the Ports and Waterways Act , the equity of the public ports may not be used for purposes other than port activities, unless dispensation has been granted by government authorities.
